We will go through final presentation criteria next class—presentations will be last two days of class. Question three essay: you will be writing on Hamlet Think of this as an exam! Study and prepare: review MWRG, notes, discussion notes, RRs, what are the top four most important literary elements in the play? Agenda: Discuss Q3 essay approach Planning steps are the same EXCEPT for one major difference: No text to annotate—instead you need to make a decision. When you read the prompt, look for our two overarching questions. Identify a central motif—this will help you brainstorm texts that you could write about immediately. Describe dramatic situation (tailored to prompt) as hook—don’t forget to intro the writer and the text! Same organizational recommendations apply—aim for point by point. Show broad knowledge of the text—Acts I-V. What will your evidence look like? Paraphrase as specific examples as possible. Make use of memorized quotes when you can!
