Feb 10 deadline. ¡Read through poetry movements descriptions: Metaphysical, Romantic, Harlem Renaissance, Beat poets, Confessional poets. You will be assigned one movement to zoom in on—read the poem I’ve included for this unit. Annotate at least three elements in the poem you think demonstrate the characteristics of that movement. Agenda: Lit terms review game Small group work with FIT and TP-CASTT--"My Papa's Waltz" and "The Gift" HW Reminders: Look through the poetry terms to know in your poetry packet. Star the definitions you feel comfortable with, and circle the concepts that you are not as comfortable with (or don’t know at all!). Using your Bedford, or Dr. Wheeler’s lit terms site, jot down the definitions of the terms you don’t feel as comfortable with (yes, I ended with a preposition).
